A HUGE congratulations to our Morton Golf Foundation President Tom Morton for raising $46,464 for the Morton Golf Foundation.
Over the past three days, Tom and his team, the Sactown Scramblers, played in the Villara Capital Cup that has become Sacramento’s largest fundraising event.
Twenty-eight Sacramento area community leaders competed in a 3-day Ryder Cup format tournament. His team, the Sactown Scramblers, came in clutch yesterday and won the tournament.
By winning the tournament Tom’ss 14-man team earned an additional $100k to the charities of their choice. Tom had the most amount of single donations- and the 28 players raised over $1.8 million dollars for charity!Ā
