Sean Woods grew up in Folsom, California, where he developed a passion for both soccer and golf. He went on to attend New Mexico State University, completing the PGA Golf Management Program through the College of Business. During his studies and early career, Sean gained hands-on experience at courses across the country, including stints in Idaho and New Jersey before spending four years at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, California.

He joined Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento as PGA ProShop Manager in January 2025 and was promoted to PGA Head Golf Professional in May 2026.
