Ken Hurdle- Fund Development

Ken Hurdle, is retired from 29 years of state service. He first served as a senior consultant on criminal justice, Native American and disability issues for the California State Senate. He then was recruited to the California Department of Corrections in 1997 to create the Office of the Ombudsman, an office designed to provide consultation to the leaders of the organization regarding sensitive issues to be addressed by the department.

Ken has extensive expertise in working with a diverse group of organizations. During his state service and since his “re-wirement,” through his consulting business, he has been involved in leadership development in the federal, public, private and social profit arenas.

He has a B.A in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento and a Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, California.

Ken has been contributing as a coach with various group programs at Haggin Oaks for 3 years, to include “Golf Fore Health,” “Practice Makes Perfect,” “California Eagles” and others that he has designed. He has a passion for helping others make improvements in their golf game as well as his own.

Ken has been, and continues to be, a servant leader committed to the betterment of others and focuses on making a difference in the world, “one raindrop at a time.”
