The 2026 AJGA Sacramento Junior Championship brought together top junior golfers from around the world, showcasing talent, community support, and a shared commitment to growing the game.

The 3rd Annual AJGA Sacramento Junior Championship, presented by the Morton Golf Foundation, took place April 2–5, 2026, and was a tremendous success.

This year’s event welcomed 96 junior golfers from around the world, all competing at a high level while representing the future of the game. The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), a nonprofit dedicated to developing the next generation of golfers, shares a mission closely aligned with the Morton Golf Foundation, growing the game and helping junior players reach the next level, including opportunities for college scholarships.

Hosting an event of this scale requires an incredible team effort. The tournament was supported by eleven AJGA staff members and more than 80 dedicated Morton Golf volunteers. Many volunteers generously gave their time across multiple shifts, demonstrating their passion and commitment to both the sport and the Sacramento community.

Throughout the week, players, staff, and volunteers were united by a shared love of golf and a spirit of giving back. The energy and enthusiasm surrounding the event made it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
